SDGE is delivering a bright energy future that San Diego deserves.

We’ve Got Great Energy

For nearly 140 years, SDG&E has provided San Diego residents and businesses with safe and reliable electric and gas service. Throughout our long partnership with the City, we have been guided by our mission to improve lives and communities by building the cleanest, safest and most reliable energy infrastructure company in America. Today – and into the future – we are committed to delivering energy that is clean, safe, reliable and equitable for everyone in our service territory.

SDG&E has worked hard to align our climate focus with the objectives of San Diego and California. In partnership with the City and community stakeholders, we have already made tangible progress over the past decade in constructing a safer, greener, more resilient grid.

Nevertheless, we certainly don’t take our local relationships for granted and our employees are working to implement projects to help make our shared climate goals a reality, one project at a time. We are determined to reduce the harmful effects of climate change, which is a hallmark of SDGE’s mission to be the cleanest, safest, most reliable energy infrastructure in America.
